For over a decade, no one has been able to tell me why they like souls games. Can anyone of you here explain to me why you like those frustratingly hard games, that have you dying over and over? I'm trying to understand why.

Well, I'm done with this game until they add a mode where surviving in combat does not rely on dodging and parrying, even on story mode. Was my most anticipated game this year, but that issue makes the game too frustrating to play. Like souls games. I DO NOT want to learn enemy attack patterns.
